Our correspondence course is suited to anyone who would like to obtain a guiding qualification but is not able to take two months off work in order to do a full-time FGASA level 1 course. It is also ideally suited to nature enthusiasts who want to learn more about the wonders of the African bush. You will spend six months to a year or more (it’s up to you) working on the theory part of the course remotely, from home, then we offer two weeks of practical training in a Big-Five reserve to help you to put all your theory knowledge into practice. Without exception, our students thoroughly enjoy this time together – meeting people from all over the world – and say it’s their favorite part of the course!
